Description: Have you ever wondered what it takes to do water drop photography? Then this class is for you! Students will learn about the mechanics of a drop of water as it hits a variety of surfaces as well as some of the additives that can be added to water to change that behavior. From very basic equipment found in most homes to sophisticated water drop kits that are available to buy, students will be educated on what they would need if they wish to do this type of photography at home. Following the lecture portion, students wishing to try the manual technique for capturing water drops in their various stages will set up the practice stations. Bring your camera, a tripod, and a remote trigger (not absolutely required but does make things easier) if you wish to participate.

Also please note that depending on the number of students wishing to practice, you will likely have to take turns as there will be a limited number of practice set-ups. Those that don’t bring equipment are, of course, welcome to watch and learn.
