PHOTO CRITIQUES
- Description:
- Critiquing Session: Rolf Sulzberger will meet with any one interested on
the First Monday of the Month, 1:00 P.M. in the Digital Lab,
to look at your pictures and tell you what a judge would think about them, and
make suggestions as to how to improve for higher scores. Sometimes other
experienced members join in the session and offer their comments.
Here is a suggestion of how to prepare. Store your image(s) in JPG format,
on a flash drive, portable external drive, or a CD. Print the image on a piece of plain bond paper, and
bring a marking pen. We’ll put the picture on a computer monitor in the club room and talk about it. As
you receive suggestions, you can make notes on the back of the paper you prepared, and with the
marking pen outline spots or areas on the image you might want to change. Do this for all pictures you
would like to have reviewed. Then, when you’re back working on the computer, you’ll have ready
reference sheets, and won’t have to rely on memory.
