Paul Stebelton - Instructor. This class is literally a walk outdoors to discuss and practice photo composition. We’ll leave from in front of the lab at 9:00am on March 19th. From there we’ll carpool to Sun City Nature trail, on West Del Web. The goal is to walk and hike though the outdoors and look for photo opportunities and then discuss photo composition, macro photography, close up photos, backgrounds, lighting, etc. Students will take photos. Please bring your camera equipment including camera or phone camera, lens’, filters, tripod or monopod if you wish, and all the appropriate clothing and bug spray to be outdoors for the 2 hour duration of the class. This class is not a “how to work your camera” class.
A separate follow-up class will be offered on March 26 at 1:00 pm in the lab to critique member’s top 2 photos and provide editing suggestions. Members will have an opportunity to work on their photos in the lab using the computers. This is not a class to instruct members on how to edit photos, but is an opportunity to learn what changes could improve the photo.
